This Privacy Policy describes how Ad Atelier (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service.
§ 01 — Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address
- Brand name and basic profile information you provide
- Authentication credentials (encrypted; we do not store passwords in plain text)
Usage data
When you use Ad Atelier, we record:
- Creative assets you upload for analysis (images, videos)
- Ad copy text you submit
- Predictions and analysis results generated for your account
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and debugging
Meta integration data (Brand and Agency tiers only)
If you connect your Meta Business account, we fetch:
- Ad performance metrics (CTR, impressions, spend) for ads in the connected account
- Audience breakdowns by age and gender (aggregate, not individual user data)
- Placement breakdowns (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
We never access individual user-level data from Meta. We only receive aggregated, anonymised performance reporting that you already have access to in your own Meta Ads Manager.
§ 02 — How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the Ad Atelier service (generate predictions on your creative)
- Calibrate prediction accuracy for your specific brand (Brand and Agency tiers only)
- Process subscription payments via Stripe
- Send transactional emails (account confirmations, payment receipts, important service updates)
- Improve the service by analysing aggregate usage patterns
- Detect and prevent abuse
We never use your data to train AI models that benefit other users.Your brand’s calibration data improves predictions only for your account.
§ 03 — How We Share Information
We do not sell your information. We share information only with:
- Service providers: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI model provider — Claude Sonnet 4.6 for prediction generation), Resend (transactional email)
- Legal compliance: If required by law, court order, or to protect our rights
- Business transfers: If Ad Atelier is acquired or merged, your data may transfer to the new entity, with continued privacy protection
Each service provider has access only to the minimum data necessary to perform their function and is contractually bound to confidentiality.
§ 04 — Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Account data: Until you delete your account
- Check predictions and analysis results: Until you delete your account or specific checks
- Meta integration data: Automatically deleted 90 days after Meta disconnection
- Stripe payment records: Retained per Stripe’s policy and applicable law (typically 7 years for tax compliance)
- Server logs: Up to 90 days for security purposes
§ 05 — Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data (see Data Deletion)
- Export your check history and predictions in JSON format
- Disconnect Meta at any time, after which related data is deleted within 90 days
- Withdraw consent for non-essential communications

§ 06 — International Users
Ad Atelier is operated from the United States. By using our service, you consent to your data being processed in the United States. We comply with applicable data transfer requirements for users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with specific data protection laws.
Users in the EEA/UK have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
§ 07 — Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
- Database connections are encrypted at the network level
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt
- API keys and OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest
- Access to production systems is limited and logged
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your account, we will notify you within 72 hours.
§ 08 — Children
Ad Atelier is intended for use by professionals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us for prompt removal.
§ 09 — Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be notified via email at least 14 days before they take effect. The “Updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
